Our cooker stopped working a few months back, and after phoning the customer support line and describing the symptoms, they recomended replacing the element to see if that fixed things.

Well eventually the element arrived, and so I took the old one out:

I think I know why it wasn't working now :D

I can't believe so much gunk can collect in only 2 years!
