Flex integration broken in CFMX 7.02 on Ubuntu (maybe - for most people)

I struggled with this over most of the weekend - and eventually came to the conclusion that flex / CF integration does not work using CFMX 7.02 on Ubuntu.

This appears to be a known issue (at least for Red Hat) - logged here

Any flex requests to CFC's are met with flex/messaging/io/amf/UnknownTypeException.

I have installed CF8 upon the recommendation of Alexander Grüneberg on the cfcgenerator list, who had had the same issue and found CF8 fixed it, and am pleased to report that everything appears to be working AOK.

Big thanks to Brian Rinaldi, and to Dave Shuck, who both spent some time trying to help get things working with CFMX 7.02.

At last I can use Illudium again :)

Dave Shuck appears to be immune to this issue - as he has got flex integration working on Ubutu with CFMX 7.02 - despite me following his installation instructions to the letter.

Has anyone else got flex integration to work on Linux with CFMX 7.02?
